Award Categories:
There are three Awards for different sizes of projects and two Commendations for projcts with particular qualities as outlined below:
Awards
'Small', 'Medium' and 'Large'
Any size of project is eligible. The judges will decide the category to which a submission will be entered.
'Project constructed outside the North West'
Any size of project is eligible but it must be designed by an Engineer in the North West.
Commendations:
'Best Sustainable Project'
In line with the Institution's guidance on sustainable construction
'Most Innovative Project'
In line with the Movement for Innovation guidance.
Who can submit entries?
Submissions are invited from all organisations within the boundaries of the Branch. The structural design must have been predominently carried out by a member of the Branch of any grade (Graduate, Associate member, Member or Fellow) and entries are particularly sought from small practices.
